ABOUT US:
Hola, I’m Robyn! I moved from the U.S. to Costa Rica in 2022 and immediately fell in love with the country — the people, the biodiversity, and the incredible wildlife.
Not long after my first visit to La Fortuna, I met Wesler. He’s originally from Sarchí, but his grandmother is from La Fortuna, and he spent much of his childhood visiting the area. Those early experiences exploring the rainforest and observing wildlife are what made him fall in love with this region and develop such a deep connection to nature.
Before guiding, I worked in the U.S. as an operations manager and handled reservations and logistics. When Wesler began inviting me to join him on night walks — especially when he had solo female travelers and wanted them to feel extra safe and comfortable — I discovered how much I truly loved guiding and sharing the rainforest experience firsthand.
In March of 2025, we got married, and in April of 2025, we began running our tour business together. Today, we combine Wesler’s lifelong local knowledge and naturalist experience with my background in operations and my passion for immersive, meaningful wildlife encounters — especially night walks, which remain my favorite way to experience the rainforest.
We personally guide every tour we offer, from sloth tours to night walks, keeping groups small, ethical, and focused on genuine wildlife encounters. This isn’t just our work — it’s our life, our home, and something we truly love sharing with you!

Where is the meeting point?
The meeting point is less than 5 minutes driving from downtown La Fortuna. The exact location will be sent upon booking.

Transportation is not included. The meeting point is conveniently located close to town and easy to reach

What should we bring?
We recommend comfortable walking shoes, light rain protection (rain jacket or poncho), water, and a bit of insect repellent.
Will we see animals?
Wildlife sightings vary each day, but our experienced guides are excellent at spotting animals.
What if it rains during the tour?
The sloth tour operates normally with rain. This is why we recommend to bring a light rain jacket or a poncho just in case! If you would like to reschedule for a later time when the weather clears up we will try our best to accommodate you
How to pay / pricing?
At the moment we accept cash only payments. We accept payments in Costa Rican colones or USD. The current price of the Sloth Tour is $40 per person for adults, $20 per person for children under 10 years old, and free for kids under 5 years old.
Cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel your tour a full refund will be provided if at least 24 hours of notice has been given.
